American Revolution, The Fall of Freedom

What is the most basic and common denomonator of a democratic society?  Is it freedom of the press, or the freedom of religion, or possibly the right to bear arms?  No, although these are all important guarantees granted by our constitution, it is the fight to elect our leaders in elections.  The right to accept or reject applicants to our representative government is the cornerstone of any democracy, or in our case republic. I think most any one of any affiliation would agree to that.  It would be horrific to disallow eligible voters to cast their vote in an election.  I do realize that in times past that people have tried to keep others form voting, that was ignorant and immoral.

So that brings us to the point that I wish to make.  While we would cringe at the thought of someone taking away our vote, how would you feel about someone watering it down?  Diluting your vote for your candidate.  I would hope that you would be angry and expect answers.  So why then is it okay for ACORN to cheapen your vote by illegally registering voters and helping to them. if not paying them to, commit election fraud?  I read recently that the NAACP is ready to make sure the voters are not "disenfranchised" at the polls.  Are we not being disenfranchised by ACORN?  To make this corruption even worse, in my home state of Ohio, Sec of State Jennifer Brunner, a Democrat, has turned a blind eye to ACORN and it's nefarious activities.  Even after a Federal District judge ordered her to do her job and verify that the registrations are valid she has still remained defiant.  This is not the first time Brunner has tried to destroy the Ohio elections system.  She also attempted to supress Republican  absentee ballots because of a non existent issue having to do with checking a certain box.  I blame this partly on her and partly on the knee jerk reactions of stupid Ohioans who elected every Democrat they could find in 2006, in the wake of the Bob Taft debacle.  So we know her complicity in all of this now let us make the case against. ACORN.

ACORN,  the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now, says according to their website "their canvassers are paid by the hour and not by the card", by the card, those are the tactics of the NAACP.  The fact that a group is paying people to register people should be illegal, it has fraud written all over it.  If a voter is so lazy that they will not register and vote, why should we pay someone to register them.  The term we is applicable since liberal politicians have hidden financial gifts to ACORN in various bills and most recently the failed bailout bill.  In that case  ACORN would have been paid 20% of any proceeds coming back to the treasury.  Thank God, John Boehner and his colleagues in the House killed that bill.  We are already  paying ACORN to defraud the American people.  I wonder if you found the the same coincidence that I did with the fact that part of the ACORN name is Community Organizers, if I am not mistaken that is Sen. Obama's claim to fame.  Now, there is no way that Obama would have any dealings with such an obviously fraudulent group.  Stop the presses, Obama was deeply involved in ACORN, to the extent that he worked in depth to facilitate it's inception.  So, who is really trying to disenfranchise the voters in his election?  Jennifer Brunner does not want to uphold her sworn duty, ACORN is registering dead people and live ones several times, and Obama is linked at the hip to the most fraudulent voter drive in American History.

What this is at it's very root is a revolution.  It is the overtaking of a government by violent means.  It is an assault on the Republic in which we vote, allow me to explain.  This is a silent revolution, a shot will never be fired.  However, the massive frontal attack of fraud and inaction by the leaders of our nation has brought us to the precipice of a place that Germany, Japan, and Islamic Radicals have never been able to.  The fix is in, to use a boxing term.  The allowing of groups like ACORN and the NAACP to corruptly defraud every American of their right to have their vote carry the same weight as anyone's is treasonous.  We as a nation have used the rule of law to conduct elections for over 200 years.  Now the rule of law is being dismissed, by those who should be upholding the law.  We are losing the battle of our lifetime and those who can fix it are to afraid of losing their power to do it.  This may seem alarmist and maybe it should be, if this is not stopped it will contaminate this election and split a nation that need to be united.  If either candidate is fairly elected,  I will repect the decision of the people.  If they are elected by fraudulent means, we the people have the right to not recognize the election and ask our Congress to intervene.  The revolution has already started, the next step for US elections is the shams that have been recently conducted in Africa.

The Ignorance of a Nation

As this election draws near I feel a certain dread.  I feel that the pendulum has finally swung.  The pendulum of ignorance and a lack of critical thinking ability.  I do not confess to be a genius by any means, nor will I ever.  However, to see a majority of the people of this great nation making a decision that is quite frankly absurd is making me feel more sad then anything else.  Am I asserting that everyone should agree with me, absolutely not?  This is America and we can disagree, however to make a choice in this election based on something other than the facts is nuts.  So Obama is young, different, and a great talker.  McCain is old, studders on occasion and has been painted as Pres. Bush's evil twin.  On the surface Obama would be the obvious choice.  Unfortunately, more of the electorate in this election will not scratch the surface than ever before.

As I am sure that you know, the stock market is in the process of a bloodletting and no one knows when it will end.  Businesses in this country are streched tight as a drum.  The American people are in an unnerving time.  Is it the end of capitlism, I don't think so.  Is it  time for an absolute beginner for president, Lord no.  The evidence and the message is clear but, no one is listening.  Everyone is consumed with America being liked by the europeans, and looking good having tea with the Saudis.  What people have forgotten is the pain of 9/11 and the fact that we basically funded the operation with payments for oil.  The American people have forgotten that America is the greatest nation on this earth.  They have agreed to make children disposable and homosexuality acceptable.  I don't have anything personal against Sen. Obama.  I just don't trust him, not because he is a different color, but because he is inexperienced.  I have more experience than he does in the private sector.  I can't trust him to protect me from terror, can't trust him to grow an economy.  Even though he is going to get the White House at less than market value I can not feel good in my gut about it.

I wish that I could say that this was all a bad movie but the only one's who live that dream are the celebrities who love Obama. Their dreamland is not my homeland.  My greatest fear is that Obama is another Jimmy Carter, in way over his head.  This time is too crucial for on the job experience.  I heard someone say that "We get the government we deserve, because we elect it", so when you see those who will celebrate this election, remember that while the working Americans will suffer, we will get the government they deserve.

Pulling the Plug on Polls.

I am beginning to hate polls.  I mean literally despise them and not because they have my candidate behind.  I hate the fact that the answers of a few people are introduced as the sentiment of everyone.  It has recently occured to me that since the media manipulates and misinforms American every evening.  Why couldn't pollsters do the same?  Why couldn't polling organizations mislead and falsify information to benefit those whom they would like to see elected?  It would not be difficult, simply ask the right questions to the people that you know will answer the question the way you want.  This can be done by one of several ways, including race, age, party affiliation, and the area in which the resident resides.

For example, if I were to conduct a poll on the presidential race and I wanted to have a certain result I would fish for those results.
If I wanted Sen. Obama to do well I would poll inner city, democrat, younger, African Americans.  Of course, this would give us a completely warped result that no one would buy.  So to make it a bit more palatable I might possibly work the opposite demographics to get a better mixture.  To make the sample more acceptable.  Or in a more sinister approach, just fudge the numbers altogether.  Now, am I making an official accusation, no.  I am only offering an opinion of what would not surprise me.  I guess you could call me a conspiracy theorist, that is until the media basically "outed" itself as a liberal water carrier.  So if it could happen to the evening news that everyone has always trusted.  Why couldn't the polls be used to "wag the dog", and it seems to do that, which is why I hate the polls.

The Reign of Obama

Allow me to first of all explain that I am neither a conspiracy theorist nor a nut.  I am a common man and a conservative.  However, I keep having this crazy thought.  Is Obama the next great dictator?  Bear with me here, I don't necessarily mean in the vein of a Hitler or a Stalin.  Lord knows that Obama would not know what to do with a military if he had ten generals telling him.  I mean in a pop culture, cultish fashion. Maybe you think that I am going off the deep end, and maybe I am, but here are a few clues to examine.

The first is the fanatical following of this man.  I have been involved in politics since the 1992, when I refused to go see Bill Clinton, when he came to my hometown, and voted for George Bush Sr.  So while I am younger that most "politically minded people" I have been around the block a bit.  While working on President Bush's reelection campaign in 2004 I met a great deal of people.  I can honestly say that the people I met truly believed in their candidate, but were amiable to those who disagreed.  Even the people supporting the other ticket, while a little nutty, were usually agreeable.  Fast forward to the present, everywhere you look you see Obamanites.  These are people who are willing to do anything to get this man elected.  From registering the dead, which is not new, to forcing Ohio to allow unregestered people to vote, there is truly an Obama mania.  I guess that there are several factor in the fascination.  One is obvious, and I will say it, he is not white.  While it would be racist not to vote for a man based on his color, in today's electorate, it is encouraged to vote for a man because of his color.  I would guess that a good portion of the people being bussed in to vote for Obama, have no clue what he is really for.  They do know that he is mostly black. Another factor is the WIFM, What's In It For Me, way of doing business.  Obama has promised programs that he will never get through Congress and never be able to pay for, yet people are lined up to vote based on those false promises.  Lastly, he draws a good crowd, evidenced by his Hitleresque speech in Denver.  He could have literally given his speech in Pig Latin and the crowd would have cried.  He is the messiah of the people who lack the confidence or intelligence to be their own person.

Fanaticism is a close friend of idolatry.  I recently drove past the local Obama headquarters, and my eyeballs about popped out of my head, On the door, instead of the obligatory campaign sign, was painted a four foot bust of Obama.  This brought me back to the times that I had watched historical accounts of Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, or Saddam's Iraq.  It seems that cultish personalities like to see themselves as large than life.  Then came the news that school children were devising songs to sing in praise of Obama as part of a visit.  It was also recently reported that teacher union memebers would wear blue to support Obama while on the job, while not exactly brownshirts still a little disturbing.  Perhaps the most disturbing is the way that the media is now in goosestep with him.  One of the basic tenants of a free society is a free press.  There are constitutional protections against governmental oppression of the press, however their is no protection against a rogue press that suppresses news that is unfavorable to certain entities.

I will summarize by saying this, liberals in this nation see the constitution as a living and changing thing.  It is also possible that if elected, Obama would appoint very liberal judges to the Supreme Court.  These judges would then be confirmed by a liberal Senate.  Then suppressions like the Fairness Doctrine would disallow contrary opinion by us.  As the Supreme court "interprets" the constitution to mean what they wish, we could see major governmental intrusions into all of our lives.  After all the Constitution says who votes, how long terms are, how laws are written.  Are we a few steps away from losing our way? Will it be now, I do not know.  It is time to take the offensive and save our nation.

Making It Raines

As if there was any question about it, the chickens are coming home to roost.  In this case,  may be for Franklin Raines, current economic advisor for Barack Obama and former head of Fannie Mae.  It has been brought to my attention that Mr Raines is being sued in a class action brought by Fannie Mae shareholders in US District Court in Washington DC.  The case appears to still be in the early stages as court documents are being sent to possible members asking if they will join in.  What is not in the early stages is the financial tomfoolery brought to Fannie under Raines.  The recent governmental bailout of Fannie has ruffled more than a few feathers.  Especially those who lost their shirts as Fannie has fallen from nearly $70 a share in October to nearly nothing today.  However, one who is not upset is Obama himself.  While he decries the lobbyists in McCain's team, he finds himself surrounded by felons and thieves and seems to be quite okay with it.  It is amazing how the man who is going to "cure" the economy has the man who has helped to kill the economy to help him . The moral of the story is if you are going to fix Wall St. and get rid of the corruption, shouldn't you quit sleeping with the enemy.  I can find about  50 million reasons to be suspect of Mr. Raines, and so should you.

Special Needs, Special People

If I recall correctly, during Gov. Palin's address to the GOP convention she mentioned being an "advocate" for the people of this nation who have special needs and those who care from them.  I was kind of surprised by that, although I know Gov. Palin has a beautiful young son who has special needs.  Why this struck me was maybe because I do not remember ever hearing such a thing in a political speech.  I have recently had my first exposure to the Child Welfare System here in Ohio.  My wife and I are proudly becoming foster parents.  In doing so there is a certain amount of training that is necessary.  During this training, I learned a lot about children with special needs.  I have always had a soft spot for the truly disadvantaged people of our world, now that has grown even larger.  However, the picture is bigger that just those who are afflicted, it is also a life of challenges for the caretakers of these special people.

I can recall seeing older adults in the market or just in public, tending to their adult children.  I always felt a sadness, for all involved.  I certainly imagine they never expected to be in this position and undoubtedly the children would rather not be in the situation. The fact of the matter is that there are certainly more persons with special needs and caregivers than ever before.  So when I heard Gov Palin made that statement I was impressed.  It is about time that such an important segment of the American people have an advocate in the White House.  It seems to me that the McCain ticket really has a desire to serve all Americans, not just the ones who vote.
